#30 - The Garmin Paris Triathlon - Completed. One of the most incredible event ever. An brilliantly organised event during the French heatwave. The swim was the safest ever, we were surrounded by canoeists and speed boats full of rescue swimmers. The cycle section was on closed roads passing the Notre Dame, the Bastille, the Eiffel Tower and even through a rather famous Paris road tunnel. Due to the heat the organisers put on showers and sprinklers which were an massive relief from the heat on the run. πŸŠβ€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

#29 - The Cholmondeley Castle Half Marathon Completed. A beautiful scenic event run in the castle grounds. Lovely support from the marshalls and fellow runners πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

#28 - Completed, The Birmingham Sprint Triathlon was not an easy event at all. They swim was in the lake at Sutton Park but with the water was about 12 degrees which made breathing so hard, cramped up towards the end due to the cold. ❄️ The bike section was difficult due to having messed up my gears so struggled until I worked out why (Bike marshalls were awesome) Started to feel my feet again on the run on grass and paths. The warm bath later on was the best ever. πŸ›

#27 - Completed, I never knew that Stoke-on-Trent was so hilly!! The Potters Arf was a surprisingly "undulating" run. A huge thanks to the people of Stoke who turned out to give so much support, I've never been offered so many jelly babies and bottles of water on any other event. The Wade ceramic medal is so ace πŸ…β€οΈβ€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘

#26 - Completed, The Ultimate Triathlon at Whitchurch saw #26 being a 1000 metre open water swim, a 28 mile bike section followed by a 10 km run. The swim was OK, think I managed not to swallow too much duck or trout poo!! Yet again I didn't like the bike route at all, huge passing lorries and arrogant car drivers made it a nightmare. I did at one point think of quiting but then remembered what and who I am trying to raise as much money as possible for I got my head down and went for it πŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸš΄β€β™€οΈπŸššπŸšš The run was great around the lake, thanks so much for the support and cheering from people all around the course ❀️

#25 - Completed, The half way mark of my 50@50 was the Chillington Hall Half Marathon Challenge. On the hottest day of the year so far the run much more of a challenge than I expected. The setting was stunning but surprisingly tough. A massive thanks to the lovely Marie Mason, the best run sweeper I have ever met. ❀️❀️ Thanks to Mash Running Events for a great race. The old feet are getting really quite battered at the moment and I've got a triathlon tomorrow πŸ™„πŸ…πŸ˜³

Challenge #24 - Completed, I've never thought I would be running a half marathon around Liverpool with a live band every mile followed by watching Top Loader live with a free beer!! Have had an amazing weekend but starting to get nervous because I know that the challenges get harder and harder from now on!! X

Challenge #23 - Completed, The Rock And Roll Liverpool 5K was a brilliant warm up for the half marathon to come the next day. Liverpool is an amazing city with the best noodles in the world courtesy of the lovely staff at Naked Noodles xx

Challenge #22 - Completed, The UK Triathlon Events Stratford Upon Avon triathlon was a harder than expected! The swim went OK but had a big confidence wobble on the bike section, got loads of work to do for some of the huge challenges coming up later in my 50@50. Massive thanks to the race organisers and volunteers, you were great xx

#21 - Completed, The How Hard Can It Be Events Shin Dig in the Shire trail half marathon was an really tough event. It was set in the south Shropshire hills near Craven Arms. The course took in loads of stunning scenery. Towards the end there was a hill called "The Bump" that many people had to go up on their hands and knees it was so steep! Many thanks for the support from fellow runners and a big thanks to the race organiser and volunteers πŸ‘

#22 Challenge - Completed, The UK Triathlon Stratford upon Avon triathlon turned out to be a lot harder than expected. The swim went OK but I lost my confidence on the road bike section. I've got loads of training to do on my bike to get some confidence back. A brilliantly organised event, a huge thanks to the race organisers and crew for their constant support ❀️
